Inting / afk-ing / griefing should be punished more than toxicity Posted: 19 Aug 2018 04:34 AM PDT As the title says, why should a person who flames be more punished than an inter / afk when you have the option to just mute him. What option do you have when your toplaner dies level 2 to the enemy toplaner and says <i don't care anymore> and then proceeds to go and fight the enemy fed laner 19929 times to the point he 1 v 9s. But when he goes afk saying that he will just go and play on another account? Toxicity in chat should never be punishable since you can just avoid it by just muting that person. And no, this isn't happening only in low elo, but in d3-challenger too. You know those players that are known by the entire master / chall ladder to int if the game doesn't go their way. There are 4 teams that qualify for guantlet each year and right now points are as follows TL 100T EF CG TSM C9 If Clutch gamung can not get ahead of 100t, TL, C9 or EF because they missed playoffs. If TSM qualify over EF that means CG can not get ahead of TSM either. If EF doesnt qualify then CG would need Fly to play TSM and 100T to play optic and have both TSM and 100T win other wise Clutch can not make worlds. A team only makes it as the 3rd Seed 12 times. Thus, their 3rd Seed probability is 25%. However, this team only participates in the gauntlet 16 times(33.33% of scenarios in the Gauntlet column). Just a reminder being positive actually helps win more games. Positiveness boosted me to challenger. Posted: 19 Aug 2018 10:53 AM PDT I have 200+ LP waiting to be promoted to challenger. Most of my games are on Nami. If I'm not on Nami I will play Alistar or Nautilus support or Garen top. Many times I dont even pick ignite and win lane but get exhaust and just sit back and heal my adc. I actually think there's players with lower MMR that are actually better players than me. But I can't tell you how many times being positive and helping my team to calm down actually helped me win games (many of them most people would have just ff'd). So if you want to climb being nice will actually help you. I can post picture of my profile just to prove I'm not saying BS if required.
