Beach LAN 7 - Halo CE Tournament Discussion Thread Posted: 20 Aug 2018 07:09 AM PDT Beach LAN is LAN/Vacation/Tournament all balled up in one event that spans throughout the course of a week. Roughly 50-60 of the worlds best CE players get together outside of Tampa Florida to play competitive 2v2, the games premiere competitive mode. This is the 7th annual event hosted by @McDick which has been established as the largest and generally the highest skilled event to attend. How Jorge's sacrifice can become senseless in certain playthroughs. Posted: 20 Aug 2018 09:50 PM PDT Jorge dies since he realizes both the timer on the makeshift bomb is fried the Pelican that was to be the escape route of the team was made inoperable and the timer on the makeshift bomb is fried the recent firefight., requiring it to be denoted manually. He decide to do it himself and throw Noble Six off the ship so he may survive. While the main Covenant fleet arrives soon after, Jorge at first still appears to have made the best decision he could with the knowledge he had at the the time and, while not stopping the invasion like he had hoped, he still destroyed a massive Covenant ship. Unfortunately, if the player did well, several members of the fire team that helped them take the bridge may still be alive and in the hangar. Unlike Six and Jorge, they lack armor that would allow them to survive crashing all the way to Earth, so they are dead no matter what. However, like Six, Jorge's armor should also allow him to survive by crash landing to Earth, so the logical thing to do would be for one of the doomed soldiers to activate it instead of one of the people actually capable of escaping. submitted by /u/CHzilla117 [link] [comments]
