Posted: 29 Jul 2018 04:54 AM PDT I just came here to express my opinion that there is too much loot in this game. specifically crafting materials. There are just so many of these things. I don't have room for normal loot because I am carrying flowers and ore and wood and runes and cooking stuff. Its never ending really. I own half the dlc and was planning on jumping in and getting the rest. Im only level 30 and its this bad I cant imagine how bad it is later. So they lost a customer willing to buy the dlc because they have a crafting bag locked to a subscription model. If they sold it by it self I would grab one for like 50 bucks. From what i read the crafting bag is the only reason people sub and I think that is dumb. such small value for 15 bucks a month if the only thing you sub for is a bag because the game has a poor inventory system. | I just had the strangest experience with a name change Posted: 29 Jul 2018 09:10 PM PDT So earlier today I decided I wanted to change my healer's name to Feet Squad. I got name change token, went to character creation, and changed the name. But as I hit E to confirm the change, my game lagged out. In an unfortunate turn of events, the name became Feet Squade. Of course, I couldn't run around healing people with such a preposterous name. So I submitted a ticket asking for a refund or another name change. Less than two hours later, I was running Hel Ra Citadel when I was kicked from the server and couldn't get back in. Customer Service sent me a name change while I was playing and it caused my game to crash. I did not expect to hear back from them for another day at least. Anyway, thank you to that one customer service worker who helped me out, and I apologize to anyone who I was in that trial with. [link] [comments]  | ||||||

| How good (or bad) is a nord nightblade? Posted: 30 Jul 2018 02:35 AM PDT I want to play a nord nightblade, because I think this combination fits the character I want to play. I haven't decided if it's going to be a magicka or stamina nightblade. I know that this isn't the optimal combination, but what if I decide later on that I want to play PVP or do more of the high end PVE content? | [PC] Which addons are the worst performance offenders? Posted: 29 Jul 2018 10:04 AM PDT I run a fair amount of addons, but I have a self-validated reason why each and every one of them is necessary. I have considered giving them all a second look though. I run FTC mainly for the 'in your face' unit frames which I rely on. I have an incredibly hard time multi-tasking during battles and having a humongous health bar in the middle of my screen very much helps. I also use Azhara to move my skill bar up higher on the screen for the exact same reason. Does FTC use a lot of system resources? I wish I could get used to the default unit frames, ability bars down low and spread out, etc. What are some addons which are notorious for reducing performance and helping to cause rough gameplay? Here's a list of what I run, and my justifications for it. If you see anything obvious, I'm willing to make a concerted effort to get rid of it and try to live without. Action Duration Reminder - I would be absolutely useless without this. I have a hard enough time doing a rotation as it is. alpha gear 2 - I only use this to swap out my rapid movement skill and auto-charge weapons, also auto repair. Arkadius Trade Tools - I use this as a recommendation from my (trading) guild. Awesome Guild Store - Guild store is virtually useless without Azurah and FTC - 'in my face' Unit Frames and less need to multi-task as described above Combat Cloud - Used to tell me when my ultimate is ready, also I think it helps me to remember when to interrupt Combat Metrics - same reason everyone uses it Destinations/skyshard/lorebooks - self explanatory dustman - quality of life improvement easy travel - let's me be lazy Harvestmap - self explanatory Inventory Grid View - quality of life. Why the default bag view is not grid is beyond me. votans minimap - self explanatory Research Assistant - I'm still researching so this makes it nice and easy for me Potion Maker - currently leveling alchemy. This thing is a godsend. Tamriel Trade Center(including client.exe) - How else am I supposed to know how much to sell things for? USPF - this has been a big help so I know which skill points I've gotten and vice versa wykkds toolbar - Gives me lots of info in one place - frames/latency/horse timer/research timers/bag space/gold/repair cost/time Whoa. OK, now that I've laid that out, I really use a lot of addons. Let the thrashings commence. [link] [comments]  | ||||||

It is the worst feeling to have defended a keep for ~30 minutes, then disconnect for ~20 minutes and eventually just quitting the game because it becomes a reoccurring issue. This is just one of the many examples I (and I'm sure others) have gone through. There have been so many instances where I expect a massive Alliance Point tick to then just disconnect. So many fights that could've been won but alas lead to mass disconnects among players. I will admit this is a salty post that I may regret typing in a few minutes but I'm annoyed they had the audacity to release this event when they knew Cyrodil connection issues have been a disaster. I just want to know if Zenimax has acknowledged this issue. I want to hope. I enjoy this game so much, it's just disappointing to be let down like this. | I just found about weaving/animation cancelling Posted: 29 Jul 2018 05:56 PM PDT I have played ESO on and off pretty casually since 2015, and for some reason I had always assumed whenever I heard the term "weaving" that it meant kiting or being fluid with movement during combat. After discovering what weaving ACTUALLY is with a new StamBlade toon I'm playing: HOLY SHIT. I can honestly say I feel like my actual DPS and sustain at least doubled. And with that survivability. I'm using crafted gear for leveling and I'm about 10 levels undergeared (waiting to craft until certain benchmarks for resource management), and man after spending 5 or 10 minutes getting the timing down the game went from moderate difficulty to absolute cakewalk. If you don't know about/don't utilize medium attacks and weaving, you honestly should consider the minimal effort it actually takes and you will see results almost immediately. Tl;dr: don't be an idiot like me; weave standard attacks with your abilities and save resources and do more damage. [link] [comments]  | ||||||
