| How extensively do you customize loadouts? Posted: 30 Jul 2018 02:12 AM PDT I... I think I might have a problem. I have way too many loadouts in the editor. It's getting to the point that I'm spending almost as much time there playing dressup as I am actually going out and operating. Last count, I had fifty very specific setups, organized alphabetically through eight factions (BLUF, BLUF-T, GUER, RHS Marines-W, RHS Marines-D, RHS Army-W, RHS Army-D, Misc). It's fun. But then I get to the VA in a mission, and it's almost overwhelming. Do I take my "[BLUF-T] AT SPEC" and swap out the launcher for some mines, or just my generic "[NATO-T] PATROL" and up my backpack size and reduce ammo weight? I love my boomstick barbies, but I give myself serious decision fatigue just playing my favorite game. It's ridiculous! But I'm just venting because I'm putting NIArms and the HQ replacement packs back in my load order and will probably want to adjust some of my loadouts accordingly. I just wanted some catharsis (or commiseration, maybe?) and thought I'd ask how much everyone else plays with their operator outfits? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 29 Jul 2018 07:31 PM PDT Hi, I've recently started a big scanrio project but I came across a problem. I have finished the first phase of my scenario and wanted to add some radio text before adding some voice over. Problem : I can't make the radio chat message module work, worst is that it's working on another scenario, and by not working I mean that the 3 sync options just won't work. None of the event module are working either (aside auto save) and the radio predefined message module isn't working too. Anyone got a fix or an idea of what's going on ? And next one is on a older scenario (where the radio module actually works) I have for some reasons, a Hunter GMG randomly spawning around the start area, the thing is, there is no spawn module, and this hunter is nowhere to be found in the scenario files. Is my arma wrecked or is it me just not noticing something ? Thanks the help me with those issues (the biggest one being : radio chat module not working) [link] [comments]  | ||

| Need Advice For Dynamic Campaigns Posted: 29 Jul 2018 04:39 PM PDT Coming up around my 750th hour of Arma 3 I've started looking into dynamic and sometimes persistant campaigns for the game that I play the most. I have tried MCC, but wasn't ever really satisfied. That might be due to the limitations of MCC or just me not knowing enough about it. I have used Alive quite a bit on my own but only achieve around 10-15 fps where as normally with the standard weapon, sound, and gear mods I use I get around 45 fps. If anyone could suggest a dynamic campaign generator that has decent performance on mid-range systems in Arma. Any help is much appreciated and thanks for reading! [link] [comments]  | ||

I am using parts from my old PC builds but am missing three parts. - CPU (AMD FX-6300) - Motherboard (MSI 970 Gaming w/ Ethernet card) - RAM (Corsair Vengence 8gb) - HDD/SSD (still need) - GPU (still need because motherboard doesn't have an iGPU) - Power Supply (still need) I have researched what is better for a server SSD or HDD and wanted to know if I really need fast read/write times to run a successful server? Also would it be better if i bought a separate storage device for the OS? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Is there an Arma 3 mission that's similar to the mission from Arma 2 Free Posted: 29 Jul 2018 07:51 AM PDT This type of mission was in Arma 2 Free, you were given a $$$ currency and you had to Capture towns and you could buy weapons, AI units and equipment for your money, you were given money for kills, and destroyed vehicles, and you play against an AI team. | Posted: 29 Jul 2018 12:25 PM PDT I might be posting this in the wrong place , so if I am , someone please point me in the right direction Basically Arma 3 freezes every 5-10 seconds for a couple seconds then comes back, it makes the game unplayable , and i'm curious if anyone else has experienced this ,and fixed it. My specs are as follows i5 4690k GTX 970 700W power supply 8G of GSkill ram 2tb 7200rpm WD Black HDD I've reinstalled Arma 3 , i've messed with the physics selector in Nvidia Control Panel , ive tried different memory alloc. i've turned down my settings all the way , i've restarted my system , i've even changed the gpu frames ahead [link] [comments]  | ||
| Antistasi Altis - buying jets at an airfield? Posted: 29 Jul 2018 11:38 AM PDT Hello, me and a friend have been playing some Antistasi Altis and managed to capture an airbase. We were kinda excited to finally buy a jet and start using air vehicles for whatever but then we saw the flag has no option to buy any special vehicles (unlike the seaports). Please note the official Antistasi guide says this:
