[Civ VI] Nubia's start bias

Okay, so I dug a bit in the game files and found out Nubia's start bias.

Basically they have a terrain bias towards desert and desert hills of 1, and a resource bias of 5 towards ALL eleven resources that a mine can be built on. Gold lux is not included since it's not available in vanilla, modders/mod users with Gold lux in their games might want to adjust it in their files.

Based on other reddit post that references unknown to me Firaxis' source, the lower the number the stronger the bias.

So there you go. A small tidbit of knowledge shared.

Future Civ representation

Indonesia, Ethiopia, Turkey, and Thailand are all very large countries that aren't yet in Civ 6, but have been previously represented in Civ games. Currently, the largest countries in the world (by size of their population) that have never been represented in any Civilization game are:

  1. Nigeria

  2. Philippines

  3. Vietnam

  4. Tanzania

  5. Burma (Myanmar)

  6. Kenya

  7. Colombia

We've already got a few new civs with Civ 6, including Kongo, Scythia, Nubia, Norway, and Australia. Personally, I'd love to see a Vietnamese civ, a Swahili civ that could represent both modern-day Tanzania and Kenya, and a Colombian civ lead by Simon Bolivar that could represent modern Colombia, Venezuela, and Ecuador. What other new civs would you guys add to Civ 6?

Some weird bugginess with the Summer patch

Just a heads up: Seeing some weird stuff with the summer patch, trying to play a game as Nubia.

1) The alerts that scroll up the side of the screen don't seem to work. They are just showing generic exclamation points (instead of, say, barbarian helmets), but hovering over them does not display any info.

2) Every time I click on a unit, a long trailing white arrow goes winding across the map, indicating the number of turns it would take to move that direction...not that I'm moving that direction.

It may be some sort of bad reaction with CQUI? Not sure; I might disable and try again.

I'm really considering buying it, but would like some thoughts from Civ aficionados.

Do you think it's worth buying the Digital Deluxe edition for 48 euro?

Are you enjoying the vanilla game more than Civ5 (With DLC)?

A big gripe for me is that there still haven't been major expansions (like BNW for civ5).

Running out of Great People (Civ 6)

I just recently finished a game as Persia, and by about the year 1900, I had completely run out of great people (I won by science around 1920). This doesn't happen to me every game, but it does seem to happen quit a bit.

Part of it may be related to the civs in play: Gorgo (who had The Oracle and seemed to grab quite a few GP before I took her out late in the game), Pedro, and Peter, all of whom seemed to grab a good number of GP.

Does this happen to other people? Seems odd to be running out of Great Artists and the like.

Missing Main Menu

It only started today with the Nubia patch. Is anyone else having this issue?

Edit: Unsubscribing from NQ Enhanced User Interface fixed it.

[CIV 6] Game constantly crashing, sends error report

I've tried playing several times, so far I've removed all mods, made sure game is up to date, reinstalled, tried DX12 option, and verified game cache.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

"Tomatekh's Historical Religions"-Mod doesn't work with Summer 2017 Update

I couldn't start a new game after the update, so I suspected one of my six installed mods as the cause of this problem. After some trial and error, I found the responsible mod, it's like I mentioned in the title the mod "Tomatekh's Historical Religions".
These are the other five mods I have installed, which all work with the update:

  • HarvestAllResources
  • Gold Resource
  • Yet (Not) Another Maps Pack
  • Real Great People
  • Unique District Icons

Hope I could help some of you.
